Inspired by the search for beauty, I explore color and composition in vibrant ways that emphasize experiencing nature. Studying the works of artists such as Hajime Sorayama and Xu Lei, I focus on the spatial relationships of my paintings. Predominantly an oil painter, I have much experience working in studios in China.
